Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Why is Pre and post scanning important?
A: Pre and post scanning is not only important, it is a required process after certain types of service/repairs, including collision by the OE manufacturer to maintain the vehicle’s warranty. (See OE info/ position statements on top of the home page) If the minimum required scans or calibrations are not performed, the OE may push costs for any warranty services or repairs to the last shop the vehicle was repaired at because their rules were not followed* much like non-sanctioned structural or electrical repairs.
Q: What is Remote Vehicle Diagnostics offering to cover these process guidelines?
A: We offer the most current OEM level software coverage available to our market, so you don’t have to. We have never made promises that we don’t intend to keep just to make a sale.
Q: What does it cost my business/shop?
A: Nothing. Actually, it makes you money and saves even more. If our basic contract requirements are met, it costs you nothing, and you get to mark up what we do for you.
